How do I find what the paint code is for my Pajero. Can I get it off of the VIN plate. ???

Yep, thats it. You will see three codes if you have the coloured centre stripe. Two the same (top and bottom colours) and then the one for the centre colour stripe.

Thanks Mark. There are a few small stone chips on the paint work that need touching in. Better safe than sorry. Before they get caught by the nasty rust bug.

No worries. If they are just little chips, probably best with a touch up pen rather than spray, unless you fancy cutting it all in.

Any decent reputable piant shop should be able to mix and supply the colour required, Halfords might have it on the shelf. Failing that mate, your local dealer.

Looked at my new Pajero, which I bought on Monday. 2.5. 1992 import.
The front bumper is in a light gold and needs touching up. Now I have checked vin number , help, all in Japanese and double Dutch to me. Anyone have same problems?

I Tel Mitsubishi, they said because it's a import , codes cannot be matched????
