Afternoon all!

Hope your all well. A few more photos. Todays mission was to get a fuel pump rigged up. My 3.0 l v6 has an external petrol pump which is noisy as hell!. So the Turbo v6 had to have an intank fuel pump. I purchased a Walbro 255HP intank fuel pump. As the previous arrangement was for the diesel there was no intank pump or filter so out came the hack saw!.

And on goes the Walbro. still have the sock filter to add prior to fitting intank.

And a dry fit

Thanks for the info. I considered the fuel pump from the GTO TT but given the extra engine capacity of the 3.5 I didnt want it to run out of juice at higher RPM and wreck my pistons it prob would have been fine. Hence the Walbro pump. I guess thats something I can look at once she is up and running and I have a fuel controller of some description, ie Greddy Emanage of Apexi . Something to bear in mind though. Thanks for the info :great

Hey all, some more photos. Progress has been slow this month with other commitments. I have sold the EVC 5 boost controller and fitted a EBoost2 electronic boost controller which just happens to fit the factory fitted gauge pod :-)

Three gauges installed in the dash area to monitor boost independently from the boost controller. An exhaust gas temp gauge and a water temp gauge. In the small recess next to the 12v cigarette lighter plug fits an HKS turbo boost controller. And above this is the super AFR fuel computer. So pretty much all my wee doocits have been filled but everything is to hand and easy to read/monitor.

This month I have installed a bulkhead behind the front seats as I have removed the rear seats . My intention is to fit aluminium checker plate to the rear floor and back of the bulkhead to allow me to scrub out the back of the truck should the odd deer end up in there... lol

Oh and a set of forged pistons are due to arrive on my door step either today or tommorrow then its engine build will be full steam a head! lol

Hec

The site wont let me upload the photos... oh well!
