Hi,

I'll have many more questions but the main one is to get my new baby insured:

from the export doc issued in AICHI in Oct 2003, it is as follows:

DVLA show nothing in addition to the above

Churchill, (who insure my existing car), have a list of imported Pajero SWB Diesel models but say that if I cant be absolutely specific about the one, and I get it wrong, they wont pay out if I make a claim.... got them up to supervisor level, but the best they could do is refer me to the previous owner, (who is no longer with us), and a Mitsubishi Garage. I'm guessing here is y best chance in the short term.

One of the options is PAJERO 2.5D (IMPORT) WAGON TD 2477CC 2DR

Well you don't have a waggon as that is the LWB

You have a 2.5td SWB Hard Top


Reckon your best bet is to forget all about Churchill and go with someone like 2gether or Adrian Flux for confidence that they won't place you with a non 4x4 insurer and probably for a 10th of the price of Churchill

Canvas Top - SWB open backed and canvas covered - nick named the 'J Top'

Would have thought Churchill is being picky as they don't like insuring Grey Imports and are looking to insert get out clauses

Try www.ecarinsurance.co.uk  they insure my 3.5swb paj and seem to be reasonable
