;)I would love to Colin but at the moment I still have a prob with my G/Box as the guy I bought it off neglected to inform me that the O/D Clutch had gone so im waitin to put a recon in and as Im disabled its going to be some time before I get to have it done as I wont pay garage prices at least not what I've been quoted!! but as soon as its sorted I will definetly be up for a jaunt out but I;ll keep you posted on my situation.Regards Trev.

Hi Colin and thanks for that info but i have been getting a bit confused as to the problem with my Paj as I dont know a great deal about them as its my first but the kickdown cable has been mentioned and Iv'e adjusted that to the rght amount and then Ive been told that it may be the torque/con so im holding back at the mo to try and pin down what the real problem is !!then I can steam in and get it done.It drives ok if you want to drive at 30-40 everywhere you go but its a bind having to stick to that speed otherwise it drinks the juice !! but i'll keep you posted as I find out mate and thanks again.
Regards Trev
PS Im in Rowlands Gill near Metro-Centre.

Hi again Colin yes it was smokey when I first got it but that was due to the balance belt having shed all its teeth onto the timing belt bottom pulley so I put another b/pulley on and a new timing belt and that cured that !! after of course doing the old blanking off the EGR as I found out about the timing being out after i'd done the EGR ,I have had some valuable help from Sorpion 42 and the man knows his stuff but when going down a long hill the Paj will change up into top and the Torque/con will kick in !! but as soon as I put my foot on the throttle it shoots out of top and ends up with the revs at between 3000-3500 doing about 50!!! and everyone thinks its the O/D Clutch, and ive since been told that there are sensors all over the place on the G/Box so Im trying to pin it down to 1 JOB then I know when I get it done its done right. but I will keep you informed as to my progress if you dont mind as your offer sounds very attractive after some of the quotes Ive had
