Postby hecmac » Sat Jan 02, 2010 9:38 pm

Hey all, hope everybody had a happy new year and are enjoying the snow!. Just thought it would be nice for everybody to list there mods. Give people ideas for more and  food for though on whats worked and what hasn't!

OK I will start.

Vehicle: 1992 K 3.0l V6 12 valve PAJERO

Current mods

LPG - Twin tanks, one in boot one under. Small petrol Tank.
LPG valve saver kit installed (2 stroke oil used to save valve seat recession)
Front Fogs
Jaos Bull bars
Viscous fan removed and twin mondeo v6 electric fans fitted. Kenlowe fan switch installed.
After market  Volt meter and  Water temperature pods (monitor lpg system)
LWB rear springs, Front cranked up.
front bump stops reduced slightly
Remote central locking fitted.
Shogun rear locking diff fitted with the mitsi compressor and ECU
diff breather kit
Shogun rear windows fitted (they open !)
BFG Mud terrain tyres

PLANNED

Davies Craig electric water pump and Booster pump, Mechanical pump removed (or fins ground off) to improve engine power and MPG
or seriously considering fitting the 3.0l 24v engine as  its easy to pick up and it shouldn't be to difficult to wire up with new ECU etc.
+ 2 inch pro comp suspension all round
possibly 2inch body kit, cant decide.....lol

cheers

also the tow hitch is fitted on what can only be described as a military spec girder :confused

I have had to replace the crankshaft pulley, and woodruff key as this disintigrated when i got it home..( drove from Kidiminster to Carmarthen)

about to do timming belt ( not a mod I know but best £12 spent )
