I keep hearin about the pitman arm recall so ive sent an email to mityz uk.will they still do it if it wants doin even tho my truck in an m reg.i work for an iveco main dealer and we do recalls no matter how old the vehicle is if it wants doin that is. :thankyou:

Yes they will do the recall if your truck is on the list.
I had mine done about 9 months ago

I think the recall was because the pitman arm had been found to snap where it joins the steering box under heavy off road use. You wll probably find that the play in your steering is being caused by something else.
I had steering wander on mine a while ago and found it was a dry ball joint. Greased everything up, slight adjust on the steering box and it was fine.

well had it on the ramp today and checked over the steering and all seems ok so i adjusted the steering and the excessive play as now gone .will see how it goes down the road tomoz. :great

They can take a few week ssometimes, as the request goes through to Japan to be checked.
