Re: are my Tyres to big ! !catching on full lock as well
i would get a 2" suspention lift first or a 2" body lift you mite need both to have no problems but that just my opion ![]()
Re: are my Tyres to big ! !Wow ! You got me worried now,
I have put it on full lock in both directions driving around the tyre centre car park to be sure it does not touch, I don't intent to proper off road the motor, so maybe it'll be OK ? Would like 2 inch lift but not able to DIY so down to cost I'm afraid
Re: are my Tyres to big ! !if it dosent rub or catch then done worrie keep going

Re: are my Tyres to big ! !nice one paul, i was going to put 31's on, but garage said NO, it wouldnt take em.. so got 235's on new rims... may as well put 31's on my original pepper pots.... the motor looks swell with your big boots....
Re: are my Tyres to big ! !well mine has had a 1.5" lift, with HD torsion and 2" rear spring collars on.. so will defo get bigger boots on original rims...

Re: are my Tyres to big ! !Cheers Steve, nice to here from you,
No lift fitted, pity ! the garage did fit one front tyre and do a check it did not catch but they warned it was close when all five were fitted I did drive around the tyre centres car park on full lock to be sure, I have since been off-road and I did get it to catch as I did a sharp turn up a steep mound it did a small rub in the arch, I can't see were it rubbed. As you can see in the picture the back end is higher than the front so it is my intention to adjust the torsion bars to give me another inch of height. Does anyone know how many turns of the torsion bar adjust bolt it is to get approx one inch ? I'll find a friend to adjust it for me, ![]() Paul
Re: are my Tyres to big ! !when i lifted my mk2 shogun i had an extra 13mm on the bolt so i would measure the bolt & add 6mm to both side then check hope this helps Guy
