who can do some work for me on my 3.5 GDi in Stanley, Durham

Hi,
I live in Stanley County Durham and have a lovely 3.5 GDi with what I believe to be a fuel delivery problem. It was stalling at idle so I had someone put in some microfilters for me. Unfortunately, I dont think it was put together properly and continually smells of petrol and has the engine management light on. It has to be driven in tiptronic and change up at below 3000 rpm to be able to go anywhere which is a bit of a bind.
I was recently wiped out on my motorbike and have a broken knee and pelvis so cant fix it myself. I will need my car once I am well, so really need someone close to where I live that knows these cars and can do some work for me ( not please at Mitsi dealer prices though !!)
I would need the air intake taken off, possibly strip and clean out the fuel pump (maybe also the fuel pump in the tank)and then put it back together again.

Hi mate don't know if you got things sorted, I'm in same boat as u after loosing use of right hand after an op 4 years ago and know how frustrating it is. If you havnt got the motor sorted your prob sounds like one of the micro filters is blocked they are quite cheap but I think dealer parts Ivor green should be able to tell you where they are n I think they are fairly easy to get at.

With the help of a mate I managed to do the head on my 2.8 td a couple of months ago so don't let things put u off.
