Vibration

Hi chaps I have recently developed a slight vibration on my 2.5 lwb, it is when the engine is at about 1000 rpm and only slightly, it appears to be from something engine related but I cannot see anything loose or appearing to shake or vibrate checked the pully's and all seems well ? ? ?

when you say vibration, is it one you can hear or feel or both?

Both Mark, I first noticed it as vibration through the brake pedal and thought the discs needed changing,but when braking you can only feel it for a second or two as the revs drop off and pass the 1000 point, but after more investigation it will do it just parked and gently increasing the revs until you get to 1000 then you can hear it and see a slight shake in the wing mirrors,when you pass the 1000 revs it goes straight away. It sounds like a slight rumble sound and doesn't seem to affect the car in any way but obviously something is not quite right.

Do you get a slight squeaking sound, like there's a mouse trapped under the bonnet?
