my shogun 2.8 - bought as "emergency vehicle"

Postby nick-dudley » Wed Aug 18, 2010 4:51 pm

My offroader shogun suffered a breakdown on holiday, first a lost wheel, then transfer box siezure :frown :angry
came back, had no transport :oops
was adamant i wasnt going to but another, then bough this off ebay, 6 miles from home, 1 weeks mot, bit rusty/ needing welding.

as bought, unmolested

Soon as it got home i added bullbar and bonnet guard
Image
rear end - odd wheel :smirk had to remove wheel cover, it advertised the old owners business- wheel clamper :suprised
Image
got some nice wheels and tyres :coolbig:
Image
has progressive tints - fronts slight, middle intermediate, rear privacy :yes
hopefully once mot is sorted, i would say a day and half in welding (chassis rear sections) i am going to add arch kit, body lift, me snorkel, dunno about winch bumper yet, since photos have added some more blingy stuff but have yet to take photos of that part, update tomorrow :winktong
Its runs spot on, and is being serviced when ready for mot :afro:
At least i am mobile again :yipee
