Metal Bulbar legislation

There is an interesting thing in this months TOR about metal bullbar legislation, it is in the Tec Spec for the TBR Ford Ranger
For those of you who havnt seen it, it says:

EU legislation for pedestrian saftey. From later this year it will be illegal make and sell metal bars that fail to comply - the maximum penalty is a 12 month prison sentence and a

Especially given that Pajeros had steel bumpers from new    :-\  ::)

yes mate but the new pajeros dont ;)  its only going to be illlegle to make and sell non conforming front bumpers, the law dosnt cover what is already fitted ;)

hi when i had my accident a few months ago and my original bull bar was damaged, when i contacted my insurance company they told me the only bull bar they would fit was a fome or rubber bull barat a cost of

the best way to protect pedestrians .......................... teach them not to walk out in the road in front of cars  >:(



if they are too stupid to learn a simple thing like that do we really want their genes being passed on to future generations?
